Kuhnkes FIO Safety SDI16, 16 adet güvenli dijital giriş kanalına sahip bir güvenlik I/O terminalidir. Kuhnke’nin FIO serisinden bu genişletme modülü, herhangi bir EtherCAT® ağına kolayca entegre edilebilir. 16 giriş, 24 VDC kontaklar aracılığıyla sensör okumalarını alır. EtherCAT terminali bir arıza tespit ettiğinde, güvenli duruma geçer (fail safe). Modül, IEC 61508 SIL3 ve DIN EN ISO 13849 PL e gerekliliklerini karşılar.
