Pasif soğutmalı FIO Controller 328, güçlü bir Raspberry Pi CM 4 ile donatılmıştır. Kalıcı veriler dahil olmak üzere geniş bellek kapasitesi, CODESYS PLC uygulamaları için idealdir. USB 3.0 arayüzleri, çıkarılabilir depolama ortamlarının veya harici çevre birimlerinin kullanımına olanak tanır. Diğer sistemlerle veri alışverişi, EtherCAT, Modbus ve CAN ve RS-485 üzerinden seri gibi entegre Endüstriyel Ethernet arayüzleri aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilebilir. Alternatif olarak, OPC UA bir IOT protokolü olarak kullanılabilir. Kontrolör, yan taraftaki E-bus bağlantısı üzerinden Kuhnke FIO serisinden EtherCAT I/O modülleri ile esnek bir şekilde genişletilebilir. Diğer merkezi olmayan EtherCAT cihazları, Controller 328 üzerindeki EtherCAT OUT bağlantısı üzerinden doğrudan bağlanabilir. Cihaz çok yönlüdür ve otomasyon kontrolörü veya Mikro Edge bilgisayarı olarak kullanılabilir. Cihaz, FLECS Marketplace’teki otomasyon uygulamalarıyla kolayca genişletilebilir.
