Kuhnke FIO Controller 116, entegre CODESYS PLC’li entegre CODESYS PLC, master/slave hareketleri için PLCopen bloklu SoftMotion seçeneği ve CAM editörü ile i.MX6 tabanlı PLC’dir. Endüstriyel Ethernet ve RS232 üzerinden diğer sistemlerle veri alışverişi yapabilir. Ek olarak, yerleşik bir SD kart yuvası ve bir USB arabirimi, işlem verilerinin yerel olarak depolanmasına olanak tanır. Interrupt input, belirli işlem olaylarında mümkün olan en hızlı tepkilerin gerçekleştirilmesine olanak tanır. Mekanik özellikler ve form faktörü açısından kontrolör, mekanik ve elektriksel olarak homojen bir ünite oluşturmak için doğrudan takılabilen FIO I/O modülleriyle eşleşir. Ek bir genişletme modülü kullanılarak uzak EtherCAT bağımlı birimlerinin kontrolü de mümkündür. Arayüz sayısı (Endüstriyel Ethernet, RS232, CAN) ve desteklenen sistemler ile mevcut kontrol konseptlerine kolayca entegre edilebilir.
